In order to balance a pump's axial force, seal rings arealways to be set at front-ard-hack cover plate of theimpeller for most pumps, and balance holes are set at theimpeller backboard. Because some pumps' axial forces arenot strong, seal rings and balance holes are notdesignedfor impellers' back-coverplate

The pump's shaft seal is made up of packing gland 9spindle sleeve 8 and packing I1, etc, or it adoptsmechanical seal toprevent air from going in or avoid largequantity of water leak. In order to avoid bearingabrasion, spindle sleeve protection is installed at the placewhere the shaftpassesthrough the packing chamber. O sealring is installed between the spindle sleeve and shaft so asto prevent air from coming in along the fitting surfaceor water leak.

The pump is driven through the connection of shaftcoupling and electric motor. The pump rotates clockwisefrom the direction of the driver end.

ISR-Type hot water pump is made based on the IS-typepump. There is a cooling chamber inside the pump cover,which makes use of normal-pressure cool water to cooldown the packing part, so the temperature of mediumtransported can beas high as 120°C.

Furthermore, this type of pump can also be used totransport clear water of normal temperature.Meanwhile, it is unnecessary to feed water into the coolingchamber, and that one machine can have many functions canbe realized.
